For our client from Sweden, a leading supplier of intelligent home alarm products, we are looking for a Cloud Specialist. 

As a Cloud Specialist, you will focus on:

Main responsibilities

• Manage and expand our cloud platforms on Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS.

• Contribute to the design, implementation and management of cloud landing zones

• Optimize the existing environment by enhancing tooling, automation, cost-efficiency, and reliability

• Handle service requests, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to ensure operational continuity.

• Collaborate with development teams to support various initiatives and projects by proposing best practice solutions and providing implementation support

• Work with security teams to design and maintain robust security controls

• Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges, maintaining high security and reliability standards

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on cloud experience with Azure or AWS

• Solid understanding of cost optimization, governance, and security strategies in cloud environments.

• Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible

• Knowledge of Agile way of working and DevOps principles, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Policy as Code (PaC) and CI/CD. Experience with associated workflows and tools e.g. Git, Jira and Confluence

• Excellent communication, documentation and problem-solving skills

• Proactive, self-organized, with ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Keen to learn and implement new cloud services in enterprise environments

• Fluent in English (both verbal and written)

Nice to have skills/experience

• Experience with cloud virtual desktops: Azure Virtual Desktop, Amazon Workspaces

• Proficiency with scripting languages: Python, Bash or PowerShell

• Experience with Kubernetes and EKS/AKS platform

• Familiarity with cloud-based monitoring and backup solutions
